The term optimization for search engines (in English Search Engine Optimization, in the acronym SEO) refers, in the language of the internet, to all those activities aimed at improving the scanning, indexing and cataloging of each web document present in a website, by search engine crawlers (such as Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Yandex, etc.) in order to improve (or maintain) positioning in the SERPs (pages responding to queries from users of the web). In turn, the good positioning of a website in the response pages of search engines is functional to the visibility of the products/services sold.
